F.A.Q.

How long is camp?

Game Day Sports Camp is a four-week program. Camp runs June 5th, 2017-June 30th, 2017 Mon-Fri from 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Camp tuition is $300 for 4 weeks. One week specials are promoted at our discretion at the price of $100.

What time can I drop my child(ren) off?

Our campers can be dropped off as early as 8:00 a.m. and this is at no additional cost.

What should my child(ren) wear?

Campers are required to wear their camp issued Game Day Sports Camp tee shirts. These will be distributed to your child(ren) on the first day of camp. One tee shirt is included in your camper’s tuition. Additional tee shirts can be purchased for $10.

Campers should wear comfortable shorts or pants and closed-toe, athletic shoes that are appropriate for running and playing.

What if it rains?

On rainy days, our activities are moved indoors to the gym or the auditorium. We may view children/family films on days like this and focus on arts & crafts, team-building exercises, and games.

Are your counselors screened?

All counselors of Game Day Sports Camp come highly recommended and are submitted to background checks.

What will my child(ren) eat?

We provide 2 snacks a day and unlimited drinks. Campers must bring their own bagged lunches each day.

What if my child doesn’t feel well?

If any of our campers are feeling under the weather or become ill during the camp day we will inform their emergency contact right away. If your child is sick, please keep them home so they can recuperate and prevent illness spreading to their camp-mates. The same applies to any other contagious ailment.

What if my child gets hurt?

At Game Day Sports Camp we value safety more than anything! As we know, when participating in sports, accidents can happen. We do our very best to avoid them and watch closely over our campers and teach them safe practices from day one. However, in the event one of them is hurt, we will call their emergency contact immediately. In the meantime, we will provide all the TLC within our personal means (i.e. cleaning and bandaging scrapes, providing ice packs, etc). In the event of a serious issue, we will call 911 as well as our camper’s emergency contacts so that care is given right away.

How will my child(ren) be protected from the sun/heat?

Please apply sunscreen to your children daily before dropping them off. It’s imperative that the children stay hydrated. We provide beverages all day and encourage our campers to drink up.

Do you offer After Care/Late Pick-Ups?

We no longer offer After Care.

How will the staff correspond with parents on upcoming events and other info?

Our main source of contact will occur via email. Please be sure to check your email frequently to stay informed of special days at camp. Our newsletters arrive using the service called “Mail Chimp”. Ensure that these are not reaching your spam. We will also post info here on our site as well as on our Facebook and Twitter pages. You can view pictures of all the fun we are having on our Facebook and by following us on Instagram @gdscamp.
